  36.             FastTrack Server instance "httpd-test" and specify the

  75.             sluggish or not returning pages fast enough then you
  76.             should try increasing the number of processes, minimum
  77.             number of threads, and maximum number of threads.
  78.             However, doing so will increase the memory footprint.

  80.             more details on these parameters.

  82.           +o This release of the FastTrack server has changed the
  83.             way it is returning a 333300002222 redirect message. When you
  84.             are asking for the header of an URL that is being
  85.             redirected to another URL, the 2.x FastTrack returns a
  86.             HHHHTTTTTTTTPPPP////1111....0000 333300002222 FFFFoooouuuunnnndddd line. The new FastTrack instead will
  87.             send you a HHHHTTTTTTTTPPPP////1111....1111 222200000000 OOOOKKKK line. This causes the
  88.             /_u_s_r/_s_b_i_n/_l_a_u_n_c_h_D_e_m_o_s program to think that the server
  89.             is not present and will not present the Demos via the
  90.             Netscape browser.

  92.             To correct this, the /_u_s_r/_s_b_i_n/_l_a_u_n_c_h_D_e_m_o_s script has
  93.             been modified to detect either the 333300002222 or 222200000000 return
  94.             code. If you are installing the demonstration files
  95.             after nnnnssssssss____ffffaaaassssttttttttrrrraaaacccckkkk has been installed, you will have
  96.             to modify _l_a_u_n_c_h_D_e_m_o_s by hand. To do this, simply look
  97.             for the line as:

  105.           +o The InfoSearch(1) program relies on the FastTrack
  106.             webserver to present documentation in HTML format. This
  107.             release of FastTrack differs in behaviour when it comes
  108.             to handling parsed-HTML files. The file
  109.             /_u_s_r/_l_i_b/_i_n_f_o_s_e_a_r_c_h/_C/_i_n_d_e_x._s_h_t_m_l now needs an extra
  110.             line before the $$$$eeeexxxxeeeecccc ccccggggiiii line in order to have it
  111.             execute properly. Upon installation we have modified
  112.             that file to have a comment as the first line. If you
  113.             are installing iiiinnnnffffoooosssseeeeaaaarrrrcccchhhh....sssswwww....sssseeeerrrrvvvveeeerrrr after nnnnssssssss____ffffaaaassssttttttttrrrraaaacccckkkk
